President Timothy Caboni has been elected to the Conference USA Board of Directors Executive Committee, according to a press release today.  

Each president of the universities in the league serves on the board, but the Executive Committee sets the membership policy, according to the release. Other universities in C-USA include Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, and Old Dominion.

“Being a part of Conference USA has elevated our national exposure and I look forward to working with other committee members in helping chart the league’s future,” Caboni said in the press release.

According to the press release, C-USA Commissioner Judy MacLeaod talked about increased success due to things like mental health education and strategic partnerships at the meeting.

WKU Director of Athletics Todd Stewart said that Caboni has been supporting the goal of graduating student-athletes and he deserved to be on the committee, according to the press release.
