John Hardin, a Louisville, Kentucky native, is the director of the African American Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. “I think we all need to continue learning about African American history because there is still racism in our society today. When some people say that racism doesn’t exist today I look at events like the shooting in Charlottesville, and I just think ‘well duh it does’. I think we can all learn a lesson from African American history so it just won’t be repeated down the road” said Hardin.
