Sara Volpi, The Literary Outreach Coordinator for WKU, is also a 2014 WKU Graduate Student. Sara see’s her art as a reflection of herself and how she see’s the world. “I draw inspiration from the natural world (People, plants, animals), along with textile design, patterns I see in books and clothing, plus classic motifs like those seen in Henna. Otherwise I draw faces and patterns that I spend hours recreating,” Volpi said.
