Standout performances from recent Homecoming games

Mike White – Oct. 14, 2017, WKU defeats Charlotte 45-14

White starred in his final Homecoming game, throwing for 398 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in the Hilltoppers’ blowout win.

 

Ace Wales – Oct. 22, 2016, WKU defeats Old Dominion 59-24

Wales ran rampant on the Monarchs’ defense, totaling 157 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, good for an average of 10.5 yards per carry.

 

Brandon Doughty – Nov. 7, 2015, WKU defeats Florida Atlantic 35-19

Doughty had an astounding completion percentage of 82.8 percent, throwing for 280 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Nov. 8, 2014, WKU defeats UTEP 35-27

Doughty starred the year before as well, throwing for 324 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Doughty’s leading receiver, Joel German, had 92 yards and a touchdown on just three catches.

 

Antonio Andrews – Oct. 26, 2013, WKU falls to Troy 32-26

Despite it being the only loss in the last five WKU Homecoming games, Andrews starred as a dual threat. He led the team in receiving yards with 125 and rushing yards with 144, totaling 269 yards from scrimmage.
