For the first time since 2008, both the men’s and women’s WKU basketball teams are in the championship round of their respective conference tournaments. 

The Hilltoppers reached the championship round by defeating second-seeded Old Dominion University 57-49 on Friday, setting up a showdown with Marshall University for the Conference USA title on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady Toppers defeated University of North Texas 77-61 in the semifinal round on Friday, and will now play University of Alabama-Birmingham for the C-USA title at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
