University of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez is pictured Tuesday among some of the championship trophies won by the school’s sports teams during his tenure as a football coach and AD. The event at the Kohl Center marked his retirement announcement. Alvarez’s official last day on the job will be June 30.
