Agronomy club to sell hats for fundraiser

Katie Daniels

Agronomy is the study of the science and technology of producing crops. Tomorrow,  from 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., these skills will be put to work to sell hats.

The Agronomy club will be selling baseball caps in the EST Lobby. They have four baseball cap designs available: two in a brown/khaki color and two in a camouflage color. The caps have the WKU logo and say “agriculture”. They will be selling the hats for $15 apiece, cash only.

The club will use the proceeds to sponsor future trips to learn about agronomy and its importance in the surrounding community.

The Agronomy Club welcomes new members interested in agronomy. They meet twice a month on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. at the L.D. Brown Expo center located on the Agriculture & Research Education Center (AREC). The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 31.
