Fourth graders participate in an “artistic robots” workshop at a GEMS, Girls in engineering, math, and science conference on Saturday. The workshop consisted of the girls using a motor to create a moving robot to which they would attatch markers so that the robots could make art. Martha Day, a co-director of SkyTeach who helped lead the class said, “It’s a great place for girls to get to learn to persist.”
