Catherine Wilson, an assistant professor of Music Education, presented a “Second Tuesday Salon” in DSU on Tuesday, Sept. 12. The talk centered around the songwriting workshops she led with incarcerated men in a prison from 2010 to 2013 in Iowa. Wilson says during her experience there, she was most surprised by “the satisfaction that everyday people can get out of songwriting.”
