Jordan Allen and the Bellwethers will be performing at the Faculty House Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. in a benefit concert for Haitian children.

Bowling Green senior Molli Guelde and Bowling Green senior Leah Hamm have traveled to Haiti several times and wanted a way to give back to the country. This led them to organize this concert, they said.

โ€œEspwa means โ€˜hopeโ€™ in Haitian Creole. We want to bring hope to the impoverished children of Haiti by giving them the gift of education,โ€ Guelde said.

Jordan Allen and the Bellwethers describe themselves as โ€œan Americana-Folk group from London, KY that blends the musical stylings of the banjo, acoustic guitar, cello, bass guitar and three-part harmony.โ€

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7, or at the door for $8.
