“the Women’s March on Washington Call for Action celebration of Women’s Day” ended at Fountain Square Park where participants gathered to listen to such speakers as from the Black Lives Matter, the BG Fairness Coalition, and the LGBTQ community. Kristina Arnold, Assistant Professor of Art at WKU, who helped organized the march, said “showing up just means doing…we are always afraid to do new things and public things.” After the presentation, participants were invited to display notecards with the names of women who inspire them.
