Senior Hizareth Linares (left), Chairperson of the Council of International Students Organization, helped to organize a volunteer opportunity for WKU students at the International Center of Kentucky on March 3 with MyCampusToo and is optimistic since it was “a really good turnout for the first time collaborating.” Linares notes that any opportunity for international students to meet domestic students is helpful; “There’s always that barrier—the language barrier and the cultural barrier.”
