HRL follows 10 year construction plan

Summer 2016
Construction began on Northeast Hall and Southwest Hall including lobby renovations and community room additions.
Fall 2016
Construction began on Hilltopper Hall.
Fall 2017
Northeast and Southwest lobbies and community rooms will open and Southwest will become Honors housing.
2018
Barnes-Campbell Hall is scheduled for demolition. Construction will begin on first “pod-style” residence hall, which will be similar to apartment-style living spaces. Northeast Hall becomes international housing. Hilltopper Hall opens.
2019
Bemis Lawrence Hall is scheduled for demolition. New pod-style residence hall will open and construction will begin on second pod-style residence hall.
2020
Second pod-style residence hall will open.
2024
Two hundred-bed annex will be added to Bates Runner Hall.
2025
McCormack Hall will be converted to semi-suite beds.
