Louisville senior Caleb Smith became interested in locing his hair his sophomore year of high school. He didn’t want to have to deal with upkeep of a regular hairstyle and has no intention of cutting them off. Often times he will trim them because they become too heavy. “My hair holds memories and strength, long hair means strength. With dreads you can feel different energies. You are more in tuned with yourself,” Smith said.
