Sadaf Sadal waits in the bridal suite before her Baraat ceremony where she will be taken away from her family and brought home with her new husband. “My family, my brothers, they’re everything for me, and thinking of letting them go, it’s just too hard” said Sadaf through tears and hands covered in henna pressed against her face. After the wedding Sadaf planned to move to Chicago to live with her husband and his family.
