Condenessa Bunton, a Bowling Green resident, said she has always been excited to vote.

Bunton, who voted at Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary, said this election, however, has been a disappointment and “one of the craziest things to see.”

“I don’t feel like it’s been very American,” Bunton said as she waited to enter the school to fill out her ballot. “It makes me sad.”

Despite her feelings, Bunton said she will still cast her vote. She said she believes she has a responsibility to vote, especially as a woman and a person of color.

“I feel like it’s a civil right, and I have to vote,” Bunton said.
