This semester, the College Heights Herald is introducing The Fifth Element. It’s the Herald’s first podcast that will take its listeners through the experiences of everyday people that have unique stories. The goal of the Fifth Element is to encourage community unity through the art of storytelling. The five elements – grit, success, passion, character and growth – make a story unique and tie people together.

The second episode is Eid al-Adha. In this episode of The Fifth Element, WKU student and Vice President of the Saudi student organization gives insight on the celebration Eid al-Adha. The holiday honors Abraham’s willingness and commitment to God when asked to sacrifice his only son.
