During Tuesday’s Student Government Association meeting, President Jay Todd Richey announced a student presidential search forum on April 27 at 1:30 pm in Downing Student Union room 3020.

“Every single person on the presidential search committee will be there,” Richey said. “If you all need to ask a question or leave a comment, you can do that.”

Zach Jones said the Campus Improvements Annual Safety Walk will take place on April 27 at 6:30 pm in Centennial Mall.

“In the safety walk, because of the time restraints, we don’t go in every building,” Jones said. “It will be mostly focusing on the outside appearance of buildings.”

During the Sustainability Committee report, committee chair Chelsea Faught announced Sustainability’s Earth Day Festival will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Centennial Mall.

“There are a lot of people coming. Chaney’s is going to be there; they will be serving food and samples,” Faught said. “The Confucius Institute will be there with their food truck. The Farmers Market will be there. The blender bike will be there so you can make a smoothie with how fast you peddle. Redshirts will be playing along and so will the Treble Makers. There will be a poetry Slam for those interested.”

The next SGA meeting on April 26 will be the last meeting of this semester.
