1. Elizabethtown sophomore and broadcasting major Lacey Graham started participating in pageants at the age of 16. This year, she was selected as Miss Teen Kentucky United States. As a pageant queen, she hopes to spread her platform of being confident and loving oneself. 

2. Three Chinese Flagship students were accepted into an eight week immersive language program at the Princeton in Beijing. This program is through the prestigious Princeton University. While at the program, these students will take a pledge to only speak Chinese throughout the duration of their trip.
