Lady Toppers release inaugural Conference USA schedule

WKU released the 2014-2015 inaugural Conference USA women’s basketball schedule on Wednesday, which includes enticing home matchups with former rivals Middle Tennessee, Louisiana Tech and Old Dominion.

The Lady Toppers, who are looking to build off of their conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance last season, will make their C-USA debut on Nov. 4 at Marshall before traveling to Charlotte and Old Dominion.

The Jan. 15 meeting between WKU and Florida Atlantic will mark the first C-USA contest inside Diddle Arena.

WKU will host L.A. Tech and new head coach Tyler Summit, son of storied women’s basketball head coach Pat Summit, on Jan. 29. The Lady Toppers host Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion on Feb. 21 and March 7, respectively.

The Lady Toppers will host five of their final seven scheduled opponents inside Diddle Arena.
