Floral Shop offers variety of flora, fauna

WKU professor and floral instructor Roger Dennis has been teaching at WKU for over 15 years. In 2011 the Floral Shop and Floral Design Training Center on the corner of Regents and Mimosa was constructed specifically for floral design students. The floral shop offers a 10% discount for WKU students and free delivery on campus. Luke Franke/HERALD

Located in a small brick building behind Gary Ransdell Hall, the WKU Floral Shop offers a variety of products, ranging from traditional arrangements to gift items, such as candles and chocolate. Wedding and funeral services are also provided with no charge for delivery.

The shop runs as a small on-campus business and also operates as a classroom for students taking horticulture classes. These classes range from Basic Floral Design to Commercial Floriculture Production and lead to a minor in floristry.

The shop is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
