WKU linebacker Nick Holt arrested Wednesday morning

WKU junior linebacker Nick Holt was arrested and booked early Wednesday morning at the Warren County Regional Jail.

Holt was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place, resisting arrest and second degree disorderly conduct, according to the Warren County Regional Jail website.

Holt was released at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on $500 bond. Holt’s court date is issued for May 21.

His court date on May 21 is for his public intoxication. A court date is not set yet for his charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

WKU director of athletic communications Kyle Neaves said in a statement, “We are aware of a situation involving WKU junior linebacker Nick Holt. We are in the process of gathering more information.”

Holt, a 6-foot-1, 230 pound junior college transfer from City College of San Francisco is the son of defensive coordinator/assistant head coach Nick Holt.
