Jake Owen is performing at Diddle Arena on Thursday, April 24.

Tickets have been on sale since Feb. 7 at the WKU Ticket Office at Diddle Arena, by phone at 1-800-5BIGRED and online at http://www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $39.50.

The groups Parmalee and The Cadillac Three will also perform at the concert.

Campus Activities Board PR Assistant Caitlin Newman said that the CAB will be hosting the event.

Owen is one of country music’s top vocalists. His current album, “Days of Gold,” released in 2013, features his latest single “Beachin.’” His biggest hit to date is “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” released in 2011.

Other hits of Owen’s include “Alone With You,” “Anywhere With You” and “The One That Got Away.” He has also been on tour with other artists such as Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney.

“I absolutely love Jake and his music is awesome,” Bowling Green senior McKenzi Halcomb said.

Parmalee is also on tour with Owen. Some of their hits include “Carolina” and “Musta Had A Good Time.” Their first album, “Feels like Carolina,” was released in the end of 2013.

The band is made up of brothers, Matt, the guitarist and vocalist, and Scott Thomas, on the drums. They play with their cousin Barry Knox on the bass, and childhood friend Josh McSwain, who plays the guitar and keyboard.

Nashville native band, The Cadillac Three, will also be opening for Owen. The band was originally the band American Bang minus one member. The group consists of Jaren Johnston, Kelby Ray and Neil Mason.

They are a high-energy country trio.  They have opened for other performers like ZZ Top, Eric Church and Eli Young Band.

“I’ve seen Jake live at CMA fest in Nashville and he was awesome but due to the weather last year he only got to perform one song, so I’m looking forward to hearing more,” Halcomb said.
