WKU senior guard Brandon Harris is the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for his career-high 30 point game in the Toppers’ 69-60 win at Southern Illinois last Saturday.

The win gave WKU its first road win of the year as they prepare for another road game at No. 6 Louisville Saturday.

Harris’s eight three-pointers fell one shy of the school record and tied a record set by Anthony Winchester in 2005.

Harris played the entire 40 minutes and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line and added three steals to the Toppers’ win.

The senior is the first Topper this season to be selected as the league’s player of the week.
