Add another nationally televised game to the season.

WKU has announced that the Sept. 28 game against Navy will be aired live on ESPNews, the same station that carried the Hlltoppers’ game versus Kentucky Aug. 31.

Because of the Sun Belt Conference’s television contract with ESPN, kickoff has been moved to 1 p.m.  from the original 6 p.m. set time.

The announcement makes it nine games for the 2013 season that have been or will be nationally televised.

The Midshipmen hold a 2-0 record against the Hilltoppers heading into the third contest between the two schools.

The game will also serve as WKU’s Military Appreciation Game, where all military personnel and veterans with a military ID receive tickets for $12. All military active duty members will also receive one complimentary ticket.

The first 10,000 fans will receive a handheld American flag and the first 1,000 students at the game will get a free pair of WKU sunglasses, courtesy of Housing and Residence Life.
