WKU ended its regular season road schedule with an outstanding offensive performance Saturday in a 88-77 win at Louisiana-Lafayette in the Cajundome.

The Toppers (15-14, 9-9 Sun Belt Conference) shot 63 percent on field goals in the first half and went 10-for-12 on shots from three point range on the evening.

Four of those shots from behind the arc came from T.J. Price in the first half, who finished with a team high 23 points. Jamal Crook shot 54 percent from the field and made eight of nine free throws to turn in a 21 point performance for the night.

The team’s 53 first half points were the most scored in any half this season.

Brandon Harris scored all 16 of his points during the second half.

Distributing the ball was something coach Ray Harper said made the difference for his team tonight.

“We really shared the ball, made the extra pass,” Harper told WKU radio after the game. “We just knew we were conscientious of making that next pass, making that next play.”

WKU will wrap up its final two regular season games at home, starting with South Alabama Thursday at 7 p.m.
