Shauna Stoeger, a student from Florida Gulf Coast University, who accompanied the WKU trip as a translator, unloads toys for children in the small village of Comandancia outside of Iquitos, in the jungle state of Loreto, Peru. Stoeger, had come to the same region last year and looked forward to seeing familiar faces.
