The first Student Government Association meeting was postponed until next Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Both SGA President Cory Dodds and the executive vice president, Keyana Boka, agreed it would be best if the meeting was canceled in order for the members of SGA to get acclimated with the new semester before their first meeting.

“We just decided that since it’s the first week of school, it’d be better to postpone it until everyone got back in the swing of things,” Boka said.

An email was sent out to the members of SGA about the cancellation. The first meeting will be held next Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Cravens 111.
