For the second consecutive week, junior running back Antonio Andrews has been named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Andrews rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries and had an additional touchdown though the air, where he also accounted for 74 yards on four receptions. Both of those totals are career bests.

It was his second straight game with over 100 rushing yards. He currently averages 81.8 rushing yards per game, third in the Sun Belt.

The running back finished the night with 211 all-purpose yards, the third time this season that he’s gone over 200 in a game.

He averages 201 all-purpose yards per game, which currently ranks No. 2 in the NCAA.

Andrews will face his first Sun Belt opponent of the year on Saturday when the Toppers take on defending conference champion Arkansas State.
