Bowling Green police responded to multiple robberies at 13th Avenue and Chestnut street last night, prompting WKU to send out a text alert.

Two black males wearing black hoodies and bandanas robbed Ryan Whitten and Tevis Smith at gunpoint, according to the police report.

As police responded to the scene, the two suspects fled on foot. A search of the area by BGPD recovered Smith’s stolen cell phone, as well as a Daisy CO2 powered BB gun pistol, according to the report.
