Because of limited ticket availability, most WKU fans won’t be inside the KFC Yum! Center on Thursday in Louisville for the Toppers’ NCAA Tournament game against No. 1 seed Kentucky.

But several alumni events are being held for WKU fans to watch the game, which tips off at 5:50 p.m. CT.

The main Louisville viewing party will take place in the bar area of the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located two blocks from the Yum! Center at 501 W. Main St.

A “Big Red Rally” will also occur at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET. There will be drink specials, giveaways and appearances by WKU’s pep band and cheerleaders.

“When we wrap up there at the pep rally we’ll have a procession over to the arena and hopefully carry over that excitement for a couple of hours,” said Donald Smith, executive director of the WKU Alumni Association.

The Louisville WKU Alumni Chapter will host a second viewing party at the Fox and Hound Restaurant, located on 302 Bullitt Lane, in front of Oxmoor Mall.

The Music City Game Watching Party will take place at Brewhouse South on 1855 Galleria Blvd., in Franklin, Tenn.

The Owensboro Game Watching Party will occur at the Buffalo Wild Wings at 4736 Frederica St. in Owensboro.
