WKU has confirmed that the Toppers’ 2012 signing class is official at 13 commitments.

The class features six players from the state of Florida, four from Kentucky, and one from Alabama, Virginia and New York.

It features seven Rivals.com 3-star recruits, which totals 23 3-star recruits for Taggart’s three signing classes at WKU. 

The 2012 signing class does not include two transfers — 2010 4-star quarterback DaMarcus Smith from Senceca High School in Louisville and former Louisville wide receiver Jerrell Moore — a 3-star recruit out of high school.

Already enrolled are former Rivals.com 3-star running back/wide receiver La’Mont Murray — a St. Xavier product — and wide receiver Michael Fluellen from Seneca High School.
