Four-star QB DaMarcus Smith enrolled at WKU

WKU has officially landed its most highly-rated quarterback recruit.

The Herald has learned former Seneca High School quarterback DaMarcus Smith, a four-star dual-threat quarterback according to Rivals.com, is officially enrolled at classes at WKU.

Smith, who competed at the Elite 11 QB camp his senior year at Seneca, arrived at WKU yesterday afternoon, after commitments to the University of Louisville and Central Florida fell through his senior year.

Smith’s former teammate at Seneca, wide receiver Michael Fluellen, is also officially enrolled and on campus at WKU.

Fluellen, a 6-foot-5 wide receiver, was also a Class of 2011 with an offer from UCF.
