WKU to sign joint admissions agreement with ECTC

WKU President Gary Randsdell and Elizabethtown Community and Technical College President Thelma White will sign a joint admissions agreement between the schools tomorrow, according to a WKU press release.

The announcement of the agreement will be at 2:30 p.m at the Regional Post-secondary Education Center at ECTC, according to the press release.

An agreement with ECTC will be WKU’s sixth joint admissions agreement with a Kentucky community college. WKU currently has joint admissions with Owensboro Community and Technical College, Madisonville Community College, Henderson Community College, Hopkinsville Community Collegeand Bowling Green Technical College.

In October it was announced that WKU’s enrollment topped more than 21,000 students. Officials said that joint-admissions contributed to the record-setting number.
