At halftime of WKU’s football game on Saturday against Louisiana- Lafayette, this year’s Homecoming queen will be crowned.  The 20 student candidates had to be nominated by an organization.

This year’s candidates are: 

Amy Bishop is a psychology major, sponsored by Sigma Kappa Sorority, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Delta Theta and Omega Psi Phi. She is a senior from Louisville, Ky.

Kelley Boothe is an advertising major sponsored by Phi Mu and the Kappa Alpha Order. She is a senior from Georgetown, Ky.

Stephanie Burba is a science/math education major, sponsored by Phi Sigma Phi National Honor fraternity. She is a senior from Magnolia, Ky.

Whitney Churchman is a double major in agriculture and communication studies, sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha, Sigma Chi and Delta Sigma Theta. She is a senior from Cecilia, Ky.

Ambria Cunningham is a dance major being sponsored by Black Student Alliance, Black Men of Western and S.I.S.T.E.R.S. She is a senior from Huntsville, Ala.
