Tonight the Student Government Association passed the bill regarding organizational aid funding for the following groups: Black Men at Western, Women in Transition, The Western Kentucky Pre-Dental Society, Students in Free Enterprise, and Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA) Student Chapter.

A second bill regarding organizational aid funding got its first read. This bill would allocate $1,000 from the organizational aid fund to be given to the Black Student Alliance and The Western Kentucky University Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter.

An upcoming SGA event is the volleyball game they are sponsoring on Friday. The game will start at 7:00 and SGA will be handing out pink T-shirts that say “Dig 4 Pink.” There will also be a TV drawing at the game.

The iPads SGA is lending out through ERC have arrived and should be available soon.

Other topics discussed at the meeting include continuing work on Provide-A-Ride and the off-campus housing website.

SGA is also continuing to work on Dine with Decision Makers, which is on Dec. 1, and the Hall of Distinguished Seniors (HODS) applications are still up on the SGA website.
