Accolades continue to mount for tight end Jack Doyle.

The junior was named Monday as one of the 25-player Mackey Award Midseason List.

Doyle was one of 34 tight ends named to the preseason watch list in August for the John Mackey Award, given annually to the nation’s best collegiate tight end.

Doyle is coming off a week in which he was named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week after a six-catch, 100-yard outing in WKU’s Oct. 6 win over Middle Tennessee State.

The 6-foot-6, 248-pound, Indianapolis native has 23 catches in 2011 for 263 yards.

His Toppers will face fellow Mackey Award Watch List member Ladarius Green and Louisiana-Lafayette Saturday at Smith Stadium.
