A program to provide food to people in need is

asking for your extra meal plan swipes.

“Share a Swipe,” a student-run program to

collect food from students’ unused meal plans, is returning to WKU

this year and will kick off tonight.

Anyone wishing to donate food from unused meal

plans can drop it off from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the donation center

in Downing University Center lobby.

Food donated on Sunday will be eaten Monday at

Bowling Green’s American Red Cross Chapter, according to the

group’s Facebook page.

“It’s such a simple way to make a difference,”

says the Facebook page. “All it takes is your initiative.”
