SGA Notes: Election winners will be announced in DUC

At tonight’s Student Government Association meeting:

-President Colton Jessie informed the senate that the election results will be given in the DLI room on the first floor of Downing University Center tomorrow at midnight. Students can go on TopNet till then to vote now through Wednesday for president, executive vice president, administrative vice president, as well as student senators.

-Kaylee Egerer, campus improvements chairperson, said this spring’s Campus Cleanup is set for April 27.

-A total of $500 was allocated to the WKU Collegiate 4-H to attend the National Collegiate 4-H Conference as well as the Kentucky Teen Conference. During the conferences, the students will attend workshops and teach classes. The money was taken out of general senate funding.

-Another $500 was allocated to fund the Hands in Praise performance, which will bring deaf students from Jamaica to perform a concert of April 11 in the Mass Media Technology Hall auditorium. Students can attend the concert in which the Jamaicans will perform will dance and make signs.
