Tonight’s pop culture lecture postponed
March 22, 2011
The final presentation in the Cultural Enhancement Series, which was scheduled to be tonight, has been postponed to April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Van Meter Hall.
Chuck Klosterman, an acclaimed author and pop culture critic, was set to give a lecture tonight as part of the series, but called this weekend to cancel after he had a death in his family.
Klosterman will discuss pop culture topics such as how it becomes associated with memories, how it shapes the identity of both people and society and the implications that has for how people perceive and interact with the world.
