Familiar Disney songs are coming to Van Meter Hall this weekend with Orchestra Kentucky’s show “Disney in Concert: Tale as Old as Time.”
The performance will feature original arrangements of music from popular Disney movies such as “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King” and “Aladdin,” according to a press release from Orchestra Kentucky.
The music will be accompanied by clips and still photos from the movies to give the audience a full experience, according to the release.
The show will include orchestral songs, as well as some performed by the Orchestra Kentucky chorus and other talent, according to a program posted online by Jeff Reed, director of the orchestra.
Tickets are available at a reduced price of $7 for students who call (270) 846-2426, and regular tickets range from $10 to $25, said Diane Crawley, office manager for the orchestra.
The show is Saturday at 6 p.m.
