After finishing second in the 100-yard butterfly Friday at the 2011 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, WKU swimmer Claire Donahue added another solid performance Saturday in Austin, Texas.

The senior finished 14th in the 200 fly, and her preliminary time of 1:56.50 set a school record.

Donahue’s efforts earned WKU 20 points over the weekend, placing the school 27th nationally and ahead of both Louisville and Kentucky.

Donahue now owns the school records in both the 100 and 200 fly and, as the Herald previously reported, she will now turn her attention to trying to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.
