The Herald’s plans for Signing Day

Zach Greenwell

Well, the day is almost upon us.

Wednesday is football National Signing Day, when recruits can finally fax in their official letters of intent.

Every indiciation is that it’ll be a big day for WKU, with at least 24 public verbal commitments confirmed. It’ll also be a big day for the Herald.

As we did last year, the Herald will be running a live blog starting at 8:15 a.m. We’re getting an early start, and we’ll be here to field your comments and questions all day.

Stop by and chat about the recruits, read up on their comments that our staffers will be bringing in, and follow along with Head Coach Willie Taggart’s 2:30 p.m. press conference.

It was confirmed Tuesday that Taggart will be announcing each official commitment as the faxes come in Wednesday. For those of you not on Twitter, we will be feeding his account into our blog so that you will know as each commit becomes official.

You’ll find Wednesday that a large portion of the Herald’s website will be dedicated to Signing Day, so be sure to check out all of the content.

We’ll also have recaps of Taggart’s press conference and the planned Signing Day celebration at 5:30 p.m. in the Topper Club at Houchens-Smith Stadium.

And as always, check Friday’s Herald for more reaction.

So buckle up, folks — it should be a long and interesting day.
