Temperatures in Bowling Green should rise above freezing on Friday for the first time since snow dumped on the city on Monday.

Sunny skies and a high of 34 degrees are predicted by the National Weather Service.

The sun should stick around through the weekend as temperatures continue to spike. The NWS predicts a high of 42 degrees on Saturday and 54 degrees on Sunday with no rain expected.
