Weather for Monday, Feb. 28: Severe morning storms predicted

After thunderstorms and high winds overnight Sunday, the National Weather Service predicts additional thunderstorms before noon on Monday with “damaging winds and heavy rain.”

Storms should calm down after noon, although the temperature will drop from a high of 65 degrees to the mid 40s. The overnight low is 33 degrees.

The NWS predicts clear skies and highs in the 60s for much of the rest of the week.
