Snow is in the forecast again on Monday — just of a much lighter variety than what south-central Kentucky saw last week.

Accumulation of up to a half inch is possible before noon, according to the National Weather Service, before precipitation turns over to rain as temperatures climb above freezing in the afternoon.

More snow is possible Monday night after 7 p.m. with just under an inch of additional accumulation throughout the night.
