The Sun Belt Conference announced its regular-season awards Tuesday night, and three Lady Toppers were recognized for their achievements.
On the all-conference first team was redshirt junior forward Mallory Outerbridge, marking her third all-conference honor.
Outerbridge led WKU in a number of statistical areas including goals (7), assists (4), shots (44) and shots on goal (29).
The junior from Regina, Saskatchewan, was named the Sun Belt Conference Soccer Player of the week of Sept. 7 after she scored two goals as a product of six shots with four being on goal.
She was credited with two assists in the same game, a 4-0 defeat of Evansville.
Junior goalkeeper Libby Stout was named to the second team.
Stout had previously been selected to the SBC first team twice.
A team co-captain, Stout leads the conference with seven shutouts and is No. 1 all-time at WKU with 28.
Junior defender Kaylyn Pratt rounded out the representatives for the Lady Toppers with her second consecutive selection to the Sun Belt Conference second team.
Pratt was instrumental in WKU’s eight shutout efforts this season, as she’s started all but one of its 18 games.
The all-conference announcements come on the eve of the conference tournament, which begins Wednesday morning at the WKU Soccer Complex.
WKU (No. 6 seed) plays North Texas (No. 3) at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
