Branch members of the Student Government Association are encouraging their constituents to participate in upcoming campus events.

“Dine with Decision Makers” is set for Dec. 7. At this event, students have the opportunity to dine with elected lawmakers over a free meal. Students and guests will also be invited to attend the Lady Topper basketball game at Diddle Arena. Many legislators have been invited, and Secretary of State Trey Grayson will be in attendance.

Lastly, SGA is raising awareness about Provide-A-Ride. The service is available from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday by calling 270-776-7777. The program is sponsored by SGA and Parking and Transportation Services in an effort to reduce driving under the influence. Students must present a current WKU ID to obtain a free ride, and it may come in handy during your weekend of Homecoming and Halloween festivities.
