World: BMW of North America is recalling 200,000 vehicles due to leaks that could develop in the power braking system. BMW said there have been no reports of accidents or injuries. (Yahoo! News)
National: White House chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, is stepping down in hopes to run for mayor of Chicago. One of President Barack Obama’s senior advisers, Pete Rouse, will step into Emanuel’s vacated role. (AP)
State: A teenager in Louisville found human remains near Oxmoor Center Mall. Police say the remains have likely been there for a month. (News Channel 5)
Other: “Last Comic Standing” judge Greg Giraldo died Wednesday after being hospitalized for a prescription drug overdose. Giraldo, 44, died much the same way as actors Brittany Murphy and Heath Ledger. (CBS News)
