Friendz Salon will be closing today to change locations.

The business is currently located at 1840 Westen St.

It will be moving to 2800 Scottsville Road.

The salon will reopen in its new location on Nov. 2.

WKU graduate Rachel Jennings, an employee of the store, said she has been helping pack boxes for weeks.

She said the business is changing locations because they need more room.

Friendz is a clothing boutique and full-service salon, she said.

They do haircuts, hair coloring, Brazilian Blowouts and curls.

Jennings said the salon will offer 10 percent off all hair care products, clothing and boutique merchandise until the shop closes its doors on Friday.

“We’ll also offer a $20 cut-and-color service for two weeks with two of our stylists,” she said.
